Turning
When it comes to manufacturing both standard and complex turned parts in first-class quality, you are in the best hands with us.
We manufacture simple and complex precision turned parts from almost any material—and in first-class quality. With state-of-the-art technology and expertise, we bring your projects to life.
At STERO, we process a wide range of materials with the highest precision. These include free-cutting steels, stainless steels, brass, aluminum, magnesium, and, on request, plastics. Our modern CNC-controlled machines enable us to manufacture both simple and complex parts from these materials in various sizes and shapes.
Depending on the part geometry, we manufacture diameters ranging from 1 to 65 mm and component lengths of up to 1500 m.
Our industries and customers are diverse, and we adapt flexibly to a wide range of requirements and batch sizes. Customers with small quantities starting at around 500 pieces will find what they need with us, as will customers with series requirements exceeding several million pieces, for example. We serve you throughout the long product life cycle, from introduction to peak production and series discontinuation.
Replacement times are crucial to your success! We are at your service with short delivery times of just a few days. Through framework agreements, we also ensure a steady supply of parts from stock for raw materials with critical delivery dates or extensive production steps, offering you the shortest possible response times.
If your requirements go beyond simple turned parts, STERO is also the right partner for you. We offer comprehensive project management and a diverse portfolio of core competencies with services such as surface treatments, customized packaging, and shipping.
Environmental protection and sustainability are not just topics we talk about, but are firmly anchored in everything we do. We fulfill our ecological responsibility by consistently adhering to environmental protection guidelines and continuously optimizing our environmental protection measures. For you, for us, and for future generations.
Safe, practical, and environmentally friendly—packaging has to meet many requirements. To optimally secure and protect sensitive components during transport, we use a variety of packaging techniques, such as bubble wrap, protective nets, or foam inserts. To ensure that even sensitive goods reach their destination undamaged, product protection and transport safety go hand in hand for us. Upon request, barcode labels ensure identification at all times.
Through cooperation with a wide variety of companies, we can offer our products with the following surface coatings:
