  • 1986

    Company founded

    Company founded in Velbert by current owner Stefan Rosendahl

  • 1988

    Focus on precision turned parts

    Move to larger premises. Here, five employees manufacture precision turned parts on cam-controlled automatic lathes.

  • 1990

    Change of location with potential

    Another relocation to the current site on Industriestraße. The number of employees rises to 10.

  • 1992

    Stero creates space at its location

    Expansion of the production area to 800m² and investment in the first CNC turning machine.

  • 2000

    Three-shift operation gets underway

    Expansion of production capacity by switching to three-shift operation. The number of employees rises to around 30.

  • 2002

    Further development

    Successful certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001/2000. Expansion of production and office space to 1.200 m².

  • 2004

    CNC sliding headstock turning technology new to the range

    Expansion of the production range to include CNC sliding headstock turning technology and commissioning of the first machining center.

  • 2005

    Further expansion

    The number of employees rises to 65. Acquisition of Industriestraße 62 and increase in production area to 2,000 m².f 2.000 m².

  • 2012

    More production space created

    Further expansion and modernization of production and office space to 2,800 m².

  • 2014

    Investment in the highest quality

    Acquisition of a parts cleaning and degreasing system to ensure compliance with the highest quality standards and technical cleanliness.

  • 2015

    Further expansion

    Expansion of the office and production space at Industriestraße 60/62 to 3,800 m². Alina Kurze joins the management team as the second generation.

  • 2019

    Extensive expansion measures

    Completion of the latest construction project, now with 5,000 m² of production and office space.

  • 2020

    The third generation

    On July 26, Ferdinand Kurze, the third generation, was born and has been keeping everyone on their toes ever since.

  • 2023

    Continuous growth continues

    Increasing production necessitates better container management. We find space for this across the street at Industriestraße 63.

  • 2024

    New responsibilities in the second generation

    Julian Rosendahl joins the company and the machine park is expanded to more than 60 systems. The number of employees rises to 140.

  • 2026

    Sustainability is systematically established

    Environmental certification according to ISO 14001 and focus on sustainability.
