STERO celebrates its 30'tes anniversary with the employees on a boat trip on the Rhine.

2015
The measures to expand the production area to the Industriestrasse 60/62 were concluded . Now there are totaly 3.800 m² of production and office space available. The capacity has increased to more than 60 production units.

2014
STERO invested in a modern parts cleaning and degreasing machine with the highest demands on the cleanliness of the produced items.

2012
In auguration of the acquired and modernized producion-facility on Industriestr. 66. The mechanical treatment and the stock were relocated there.

2010
25th CNC-machinery and 25th other machinery produced in a three-shift operation 7 days a week high-quality parts.

2008
the 75th employee is set and the 200th customer can be won.

2006
The company expanded its product range to include cold-forming parts. 

2005
STERO has around 65 members of staff; the company is “bursting at the seams”. The absolutely essential expansion is completed by the takeover of the commercial property at Industriestr. 62.

2004
Purchase of first processing centre.
The CNC long lathe machining technology incorporated in the production programme.

2002
Successful certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 Second extension of production and addition of an administration building.

Production capacity can be increased by changeover to 3-shift operation.

Change of company name to STERO GmbH & Co KG, the number of employees has increased to about 30.

Procurement of the first CNC lathe.

Acquisition of the property and first extension.

The company M+R Drehteile GmbH & Co. KG was founded.

Move to the present location at Industriestr. 60, number of employees increases to around 10.

Relocation to Mettmanner Str. in Velbert, 5 employees produce precision turned parts using exclusively cam-controlled automatic lathes.

The company was founded by the present owner Stefan Rosendahl at Langenbergerstr. in Velbert.
